Bread of the Week
and Dessert of the Week

In an attempt to perfect my craft and learn lots of new thing (not to mention eat like a queen) I am going to be making something new every week.

This week:

Bagels (salt and sesame seed)

White Cake with raspberry filling and white chocolate frosting

Look out for these in the next two days!

they won't be coming out on any particular days of the week, more as just a weekly thing because- well- I'm not good with too much structure.

Berry Trifle

This trifle was so delicious. It is a very simple dessert, but is very "springtime decadent".

Berry Faux Trifle for 8-12

Ingredients:
1 pint cream
8 oz cream cheese
1 c sugar
1 T cocoa
1 t vanilla
1 pint mixed berries, fresh or frozen
1 pint strawberries, fresh
1 chocolate cake
1 c chocolate chips

1. Beat cream cheese until soft, add 1 c cream, 1/2 c sugar and a few berries. Whisk until it is like a thick whipped cream. Keep chilled.
2. Whip other half of cream with the rest of the sugar, cocoa and vanilla until it has stiff peaks
3. Quarter strawberries and chop up cake
4. Layer dessert in s trifle dish or other glass dish:

Half of raspberry cream
Mixed berries
Chocolate Cream
Chocolate Chips
Half of Cake
Rest of Raspberry Cream
Strawberries
Rest of Cake
Rest of Chocolate Cream
Garnish with Strawberries

Refrigerate and enJOY
